AU Premium 60 Shore Lined Fittings — Mozambique Mine

We delivered rubber lined fittings finished in AU's premium 60-shore compound for a Mozambican mine. The harder 60-shore lining trades a small amount of resilience for improved cut and tear resistance in coarser slurry streams.
The challenge
Standard 40-shore liners can deform under heavy impact from coarse particles. The customer's process carries a high proportion of larger particle sizes, requiring a harder rubber that resists chunking and cutting damage.
Our solution
Fittings were lined with AU's premium 60-shore natural rubber compound — a higher-modulus lining bonded with autoclave cure to give a denser surface against coarse-slurry impact. Each piece was inspected, certified, and crated for export.
